Bratec Lis masterclass

Last week I went back to Moscow to teach at Bratec Lis School again. Just like last time I returned home feeling very inspired and happy, I'm so proud of what everyone created in just three days time. Here's some pictures of the workshop:

Illustration up for auction!

Trien Trapt is cycling 30.000 km in order to raise € 30.000 for WWF and UNICEF Belgium. She's asked a few artists to donate illustrations to auction off for the charity. You still have until the 29th of February to bid on my illustration here.

Moscow Masterclass!

A few days ago I returned from a wonderfully inspiring trip to Moscow where I taught a 3-day workshop about different illustration techniques. It was great meeting so many creative people and seeing the collection of drawings and experiments grow each day. Big big thanks to Margarita and Evgeny for making this happen, you can find more info about their school here.

Hello Audrey!

This week my brother's wife gave birth to a perfect little baby! I had a lot of fun making an illustration for such a happy occasion, and couldn't be a more proud aunt!

Helen Birch from drawdrawdraw made another little book in which she breaks down illustrations by techniques, subject matter and tools, this time focused on watercolour. It's a lovely selection of work from illustrators all over the world, and I'm included!

I made a poster for the Provinciale Prijs Letterkunde 2015 West-Vlaanderen!

From the 24th of January till the first of March you can see some of my work at Kabinet i at SASK Sint-Niklaas!

The exhibition will also feature work by Tim Van den Abeele, Carll Cneut, Gerda Dendooven, Korneel Detailleur, Anton Van Hertbruggen, Tom Schamp, Alain Verster and Heike Villavicencio.

Lastminute Christmasshop at RAAM!

Kunst in Huis

From now on it's possible to rent or buy my work from Kunst In Huis! 

Together with five other ex-students of Carll Cneut (Merlijne Marell, Eline Maes, Joke Dieleman, Alain Verster and Nele Balcaen) I was invited to be 'artist in the spotlight' at their department in the St Peter's Abbey in Ghent. Reason for this is the wonderful exhibition about Carll Cneut which can be visited until the 10th of May.
